The Outbreak 850XDP Insulated, Wide-Bottom Pop-Up Portable Shelter is built for anglers who want maximum space, warmth, and reliability on the ice. Designed with a flared, wide-bottom footprint, it delivers an expansive 120 square feet of fishable area, making it ideal for groups who want to fish comfortably without feeling crowded.
Constructed with StormShield insulated fabric, this shelter uses a three-layer bonded material with 80 grams of high-loft insulation to create an effective barrier against wind and cold. The result is excellent heat retention, improved heating efficiency, and reduced condensation during long days on the ice. A light gray interior further enhances visibility by reflecting available light instead of absorbing it.
Entry and exit are effortless thanks to no-trip doors on each end of the shelter. Each full panel door opens from ice level, eliminating thresholds that can catch boots or require ducking. Large, removable windows are positioned at eye level, giving anglers a clear view of outside lines, with cover flaps that secure neatly to the wall when open.
The Outbreak 850XDP is engineered for convenience both on and off the ice. Packdown hubs and optimized pole geometry reduce the packed length to just 57 inches, allowing the shelter to fit easily into sleds and smaller vehicles. Robust hub construction ensures long-term durability in harsh conditions, season after season.
Versatile heating options are supported through two sealable ventilation duct ports, compatible with a wide range of heat sources including diesel heaters. A separate zippered propane line port adds even more flexibility. To keep the shelter secure in windy conditions, the system includes thirteen ice anchors and six deluxe cam straps that attach to in-skirt grommets and hubs.
Transport and storage are simple with the included zippered carry bag, featuring a full-length YKK zipper, exterior grab handles, cinch straps, and dedicated pockets for ice anchor storage.
