The Autowbrake is a fully self-contained, proportional electric trailer brake controller that mounts directly on the trailer—right where it belongs. Designed to provide smooth, automatic braking, the Autowbrake delivers both emergency and general braking without relying on a traditional in-cab controller.

Unlike time-delay brake controllers that apply the same preset braking power every time, the Autowbrake adapts to each braking situation. As you slow down, the trailer brakes gradually and proportionally, matching the braking behavior of your tow vehicle. Simply set the initial power level and drive with confidence.

The Autowbrake operates on 12-volt power supplied by the tow vehicle or a trailer battery, as long as the battery has a charge line or solar charging. Once installed and connected, no syncing with the key fob is required for normal operation. If another brake controller is detected, the Autowbrake automatically enters sleep mode.

The included key fob is optional and used for pre-travel testing or for manually overriding the automatic braking to help correct trailer sway. This system is not designed for motorcycles or bikes. A downloadable Autowbrake installation PDF is available for easy setup.
